A Little Sunday Discourse About Evil and Fear (Especially About How Neither Has Any True Power at all)

I was thinking, joyfully, this morning, about the Realm of Wisdom!  It is at hand!  It is constantly playing out.  It is the purpose of creation.  It is the force of the light!  It is inevitable and, of course, light conquers all.  The light is what we are all here for and to be one with the light is the destiny of all creation.

And time stands still, obliterate, before me.

It’s a matter of time.  The time of this world is as false as everything of this world.  It is all delusion.  And all forces that might seem to be in opposition to the Realm of Wisdom are as all temporal things:  delusion, deception, a false take on reality.  A bad dream, in short.  It is a collective bad dream dreamt by a collective of dysfunctional created beings with power to create [i.e made in the image](with free will) under unknown (and perhaps unknowable) untold fundamental delusions.

All this is true enough yet opaque enough to disbelieve.  Hence the apparent power of fear.  Hence fear of the powers of darkness.  Hence obsession with evil, with the satanic, as we’ve scared hell out of ourselves to come to know of this evil, to believe and to fear.  They too are all delusion.  Like this world this ‘reality’ we all believe is the real patently isn’t.  None of it has power over the light reality of creation and the eternal coming into play Realm of Wisdom.  It is axiomatic.  Light is the only real, spirit is the only reality, and the Realm of Wisdom is oneness with creation.  There is nothing to fear.  Not even fear itself.

All this is not some cute way to belittle the things that scare us.  It is not a way to pooh-pooh satanic status-chasing and egocentric selfishness that is the bane of darkness upon our best efforts.  I’m also not saying that there is absolutely nothing inherently real about the world.  We’ve all stubbed our toe on it.  We all see and know the world to be demonstratively dangerous to all of us.

Yes, the dangers of the world are real.  Yes, the world can cut you down like the industrial band-saw that cut down Johnny Cash’s brother.  Yes, the world can mow you down in fatal violence like the car that mowed down John Lennon’s mother.  Yes, disease like the cancer that took Paul McCartney’s mother’s life and Linda’s life and the cancer that took my brother’s life is real.  It can come up all of a sudden without warning.  One day you and your brother are enjoying post-Christmas post-Twelfth Night play in the yard.  Suddenly he comes up severely short of breath.  He is whisked away to big-city hospital and you never see him again.  You are in some state of wondering, going to school for a week or two, not knowing.  And just like that it’s all over.

And the world is susceptible to horrific violence, yes.  Occasionally an immigrant will go off on a killing/maiming pillage spree.  More often, though, the ‘terrorist’ is home-grown, some nut channeling the füry of the fürious führer maroon.  The wing-nut volunteers to step up and do something about the constantly fomenting discontent and outrage and conspiracy paranoia, the common currency of this era’s patriot.  [He’s been told that the ‘2nd Amendment people’ *know* what to do].  And accidental gun violence, the flats and the sharps, are oft times close to home.  Sexual violence and abuse too, for that matter; they are likewise more-than-often close to home.  Yet, occasionally it is an immigrant involved, I concede.  Occasionally enough to create the warrant of an anecdotal reality neo-certainty, one can suppose.

And then there’s the issue that twists and torments the innocent at heart:  the untimely death of the little ones and the ones beyond little, the unborn.  The torment, pain and suffering, the overwhelming emotional overload that panders this one is severe.  But it is all a product of the deception of the dark and fearful ways of the world.  It is a consequence of allowing the dark forces of fear and loathing — the very presumption of extreme dualistic reality — to overwhelm the light of the Realm of Wisdom.  For if there were only one shot before judgment as the forces of darkness would have you fear then, yes, indeed, the redrum of women’s health and the potential grossly unfair and wholly arbitrary power to terminate this one and only chance would be overwhelming in its evil darkness.  Yet, the Realm of Wisdom is light.  The light illuminates all darkness and defeats to obliteration death and the fear of death.  This is true reality.  Spirit light is the only truth.  Consider how much work is involved in maintaining the otherwise delusion of reality:  consider the phantastical twists and contortions involved in explaining premature death of innocents by officialdom of catholicity.  That consideration alone is reason enough.  See the light!  The Realm of Wisdom is at hand!  Reality is not what it seems!

But, nonetheless, yes, I get it that the world is as real as it seems.  Yes there is suffering.  Yes there is much to fear.  But, yes, too, it is temporal, not real.  There is no reality to it.  It is like a movie projected, like a dream.  The reality of spirit is there all along.  This spirit reality supersedes all. Spirit reality goes on eternally while the other ‘real’ stuff that hurts and maims and sickens and scares does not.  These are all what the evil deigns to manipulate do not do and cannot do.  They are unreal.  They are delusion.

I used to miss my brother severely until I awakened to the spiritual. Now I interact with the spirit on a regular basis.  It seems correct and natural to misread this absence.  It seems correct and natural to disregard all that is unseen.  What we know as ‘reality’ is actually the counting on the delusion of reality and the truly dark satanic assumption that all that we see is all that is real and that time runs out and that we only have one shot then are judged and some don’t get that chance:  those are the things that foster our doubt and obscure the reality and the here and now of the Realm of Wisdom.  Those are the only things that give evil and darkness the semblance of power.  But it is no power at all.

Only seek and you shall be given.  The store of light is eternal.  It is rich.  It is abundant beyond imagination.  You only have to ask.  You only have to seek.  You only have to shut off the delusion and none of the delusion can have any power over you.  Fear is unnecessary.  Fear is false.  Fear is not spirit.  Fear is not light.  Don’t fear.  Believe the light.  Trust the light.

And, yes, the ways of the world are overwhelmingly persuasive.  I see that.  I get that.  Some of the most ‘religious’ people that I know are some of the most fearful, constantly counting on their faith in the judgment, the final solution, to ward off the fear.  But the fear never truly leaves because the delusion of reality — the danger of the world — is always truly foremost in the mind’s acceptance of what is.  This is truly evil.  I even know of some who will brag about how wisely they raise their children within this traditional ‘Christian’ framework.  They brag about how they have taught their children not to trust anyone, (especially anyone of the ‘left-wing’ [sic] ‘socialist’ [sic] ‘politically correct’ [sic] ‘conspiratorial’ [sic] ‘elite’ [sic]).  Presumably, though, they do teach their children to put their trust in the scriptural Christ and the traditional foundations of the catholic and apostolic church, and see absolutely no connections with the delusion of the world and this peculiar institution, with the pandering to fear or with the dispiriting, dark anti-light (anti-Christ) lack of spirituality that a turning away from trust entails.

I know that the preceding paragraph packed a lot of meaning punch in it.  I know I will have lost many who refuse to make the connection with darkness and organized religion, with the world and delusion, with fear and a dark turning from the light.  Well, I can’t exactly help that.  I cannot perfectly explain the good news of the Realm of Wisdom.

I can only keep trying.  I can only keep talking about it.  I can only say that it is “at hand”!  I can only say over and over again that this world is not real.  This illusion of one life is not real.

But I can try other things.  And, over this illusion of time, I will.

This fear is powerless.  Darkness and any kind of evil that might be feared in connection with what is temporal delusion has no power over destiny, light and the manifestation of the Realm of Wisdom

It is as sure as anything is.  Just seek.  Just improve incrementally.  Just thirst.  Believe.  There is nothing to fear.  Light has all power over death even, which is nothing at all if not delusional fear.
