An Actual Real Letter from a Very Close Personal Friend of Mine to His Select Group of Social Media “Friends”

You Netflix® denizens! Tonight, in one sitting, I just watched “Yes, God, Yes” followed hard immediately by “St. Vincent”. Both are touching, moving, and inspiring. Especially in that order of proximity. In that particular order on this particular night in this particular light they hit me like the stars aligned in epiphany! The big little home-screen experience reinforced absolutely everything I know and love about spirituality and have ever known and loved, ever since my pre-language time when I so enjoyed the trips in and out of the discernable and memorable purple light.

They are pertinent too, in justifying the religious box that I know I am in. If you would like the definition of the particular religious (and not spiritual) box I find myself in, I will explain. It is vehemently anti right-wing-conservative-political-“Christian”. I am a Jewish follower of Christ and a Gnostic acolyte of meditation and a committed zen Buddhist. If I must choose only one ‘religion’, I willingly choose exactly such a three-in-one. Most importantly I don’t ask, require, or recruit anyone to choose what I choose or to be what I aspire to be. If you don’t like any of this please refer to my recent post about happiness and about those who live in hell and where they can simply go. I’m not asking anything extraordinary of any of you because I do know how short a trip it actually is!

Love,

tmr
