Stray Thoughts

Each one of us has a different lesson (or set of lessons) to learn, a different way to learn them all (and it all) and a totally different ‘individually-sliced’ time-line in which to “do” it all.

What we think of as “mistakes” or “accomplishments” “failures” or “achievements” “tragedies” or “comedies” are in cosmic reality quite something else.

No one should feel bad about the “wrong” they have done in learning or the embarrassment they “experience” or the ‘worthlessness’ they sense or the pain and suffering etc and anon.  No one should make too much of the “mental” things that they do/might have done.  For each lesson and/or learning opportunity (be it seen as good or be it seen as bad) should be known as transcendent of all negativity and can be taken for the timely and necessary blessing it is.  Likewise the messenger who delivered the lesson or learning opportunity.  It is not needed to hate nor to resent nor to be negative at all.  (And it should be likewise axiomatic that no one on earth is qualified to make another “pay” for the bad he/she has done/caused. This is a matter for ‘Saint’ elsewhere).  For each messenger or agent of ‘causation’ (be he/her a “carrier pigeon” or be he/her a “stool pigeon”) is likewise a blessing who appears as if divinely bidden into your life at precise and scripted moments and/or durations for a purpose that is beyond the pain and/or pleasure of the experience itself but which carries cosmic and timeless implications, design and purpose.

That all said, no one should ever apply or impose standards or even expectations to another.

It is not fitting.  ‘Tis improper.

Pay close attention to what Jesus had to say about forgiveness, inclusion and acceptance versus setting standards for others, even though this particular discussion of his is in the strangest of languages and the oddest of idioms that he could have ever used.  Probably it was because the stakes are so high regarding the “wages” of setting standards and the consequences of imposing standards and to whom said ‘set’ standards actually apply.  And for good reason too, for isn’t it said elsewhere that a trap that any bird can see won’t catch a thing?  (Or something quite similar?)

It would be as ridiculous for karma to be only applicable for one span of what we “experience” as one life as it would be that the world will end at a specific time with a special bespoke knight of salvation making dramatic entrance from the sky within the short-to-medium term of any particular group of people however ‘loosely’ or ‘tightly’ bound such a group thinks or covenants [sic] they are.  (And each subsequent “group” who has assumed privileged status of end-times participation of themselves is hopelessly deluded and hopelessly arrogant to boot!)

All of that karma and learning and growing and kingdom of heaven stuff is going on in a time-scale of an approaching of infinity, a “usage” of time without space/time bounds in the working out to be of the manifestation of divine creation.  It is beyond our even needing patience as much as our needing a good attitude.  Don’t get caught up in the negativity of what you might “experience” or “feel”.  Live each eternal moment. Learn each lesson with the joy of keeping the spiritual eye on the physically invisible prize.  Divine manifestation of the purpose of creation is surely playing itself out in time obliterate!

A Certain Outlook

It’s positively possible to be absolutely positive about absolutely everything. I’m positive about this!

*There is always a way and the resources needed are easily accessible and unendingly abundant

** One does not even have to dig very deeply or look very far to find the positive → no matter what. It’s there! It’s now! It’s always! I’m positive about this.

About a wonderful language of beauty

Here’s something to revel in: the sublime delight about the beauty that surrounds us!

And the articulate language that expresses the approximate understandability of this beauty: the language of mathematics!

I particularly love the beauty of algebraic math because that beauty is the beauty of absolutely determinate order. Algebraic math can mutate into a variety of challenging difficulties — arbitrary name-label after arbitrary name-label — sweet levels of complexity, seemingly unsolvable. Yet the beauty of it is that it stands as a solvable challenge always!

Calculus mathematics, on the other hand, has as its fundamental core a devilish insolvability, a built-in indetermination of relativity. It is never to be solved and always to be approaching the infinite to ever more complex infinitesimal degree. This is relativistic beauty the likes of which we earthly humans probably don’t deserve. Yet it is! O the exquisite and beautiful insolvability! Just revel it in! Then consider how what it does for us is astounding in so many practical applications, applications that turn the magical and inexplicable into the ordinary. Calculus seems designed to be forever taken for granted as its purpose! It is beauty, therefore, beyond even love (which as *mature* as it deigns to be abhors being taken for granted, if forgiving of absolutely everything else!).That, my friends is beauty to admire!

And it is all resplendent with resounding Christ spirit! Who could not love?!

Observations Regarding Truth

One can circle the truth many times over. One can view the truth from every angle. One can study thus, the truth. Having observed from every angle one can become adept at study of the truth. One can observe the way that the act of observation itself changes both the observed and the observer. One can have grown old and wise in study of the truth in the gnosis of so many varied angles and aspects of truth. Still, one has only circled truth and can only continue along in a circuitous journey.

Another Stab at Explanation

Non-attachment doesn’t mean at all what you are certain you think it means.  It doesn’t mean don’t care or never feel attached!  One must escape from the vicious circle of undue attachment to begin to fathom how loving and joyful detachment truly is! Away from the influences and pressures and obligations of attachment all that is given is in earnest and nothing is conditional!  In however oh so many ways this might upset and upend your transactional world. I say (and I maintain) and I will continue to say that it is better!  There is certainly an absence of fear in the latter and I have no doubt that fear is an integral feature of the former.  How do you love?  Why judge the way that I do?  I love deeply, without undue attachment and without fear.

A radical ask

No religious conservative seeks or thinks to ask forgiveness for their nationalism.  Indeed it does not get bundled among the cornucopia assortment of depravities.  But when you are sorting out the ransoms and haggling over the bargains in your personal dealings with Jesus, I suggest you might ask “H”im about nationalism specifically.  If the answer is that you are lauded and merit a gold star or a medal, I suggest that you perhaps question the “relationship” for it will not work that way.

More of the Same

Yes, granted. We are human, filled with foibles, imperfections, faults. Of course, I have those too. I don’t deny that. Many of yours have I also and likewise. We are deluded, prejudiced, selfish, proud, determined to be right about political things and suchlike. I am very much so. We are, to use a term of yours, one I would never, ever, ever – on any condition – ever use: depraved.

Yes. Of course.

I know you are. So am I. Yet that doesn’t preclude the pure spirit within us from being as pure as the light in the source. Light begets light. We are pure light within. It is only a matter of realization. Realization is that eternity is ever and ever is now and eternity is ever now and the kingdom has ever been at hand. And we are eternal. Pure light within light, like waves within the ocean. Realize within. Experience. Don’t bargain. Don’t look around everywhere lost. Now is not to come. Now is evermore.

Observations

When I emerge from a regularly scheduled or rewardingly unscheduled concentrated stoppage of time following and continuing as flow of an intense and most freshly welcomed experience of extended literal peace and literal quiet aum-word I can oft more keenly observe in the glowing of all now afterwards.

When I sometimes flow on to thus observe our country that is oft proudly boasted of as a “Christian” “nation” this is what I observe, and I’ll be uncharacteristically word-sharing and frank:

I observe a proud boasting false country that worships militancy and soldiery and pays lip-service to Jesus; a false country that fundamentally misunderstands and consistently mistakes Jesus for Christ and vice for versa; a false country of proud boasting flawed people who freely endow and laden so thus (as previously mentioned) mistaken Christ with all sundry of super-human powers, rendering him [sic] to be an overly expected copious dispenser of a mystical cornucopia of pez; a false country that believes the word to be [collected] figure[s] on a page or a personalized panderesque-patronized provisionally pulled favorite figure of speech.

Yet I am conditioned well by blissful experience of the peacefully and quietly emerging from the delightful stoppage of time to take this observational all in a gentle, accepting, and loving way.
